The second, record-breaking edition of the Genova Open International Ju Jitsu has ended. The new Palasport in Genoa hosted over 600 athletes from 19 nations and 4 continents: Europe, Asia, Africa and America and, overall, more than 4000 people in the three days of competition, decreeing "Liguria" as the European Region of Sport.
A big party for the home athletes of the Lino Team, with: Agata Moretti who won gold in the Under 16 -63 Kg Fighting System category. Federica Mazza is silver among the Adults +70 kg Fighting System. Bronze for Chiara Fiorelli among the Adults -63 Kg and for Elio Moretti in the Under 21 -56 Kg. Among the foreign "stars", the German Sophie Buescher confirmed herself in the -57 Kg Adult category of the Fighting System. Gold also for Ruben Ragunath in the -85 kg of the Fighting System.
Great emotion also for the challenges of inclusive self defense with the victory of Naples / Naples as well as in Para Ju Jitsu with the final success of Michele Russo.
